Carrie White is a lonely bullied high school teen who is mothered by a religious fanatic. One day she discovers that she has telekinetic powers and decides this is how she's gonna change her life. Meanwhile her classmates devise an awful plan to humiliate Carrie. Unbeknownst to them, doing this will set in motion the most chaotic night in Chamberlain, Maine's history and create a night that no one will ever forget.
